Vancouver Island Volleyball
ViVBall was launched Summer of 2010 with sand and grass events in various cities throughout Vancouver Island. Our goal is to provide volleyball events that are fun for both participants and spectators! We cater from novice to elite volleyballers so don't be shy and come out to meet some new people, as well as, to improve on your skills.
You will also have a chance to watch and/or compete with some of the best in BC! Many players from the Island have advanced on to play varsity volleyball on College, University, and National teams.
Summer is fast approaching so get some friends together, get some exercise, get better, and have a lot fun! We hope to see you soon on the courts and please, don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions and/or concerns about what we have to offer!

TOURNAMENTS
NEW OUTDOOR SCHEDULE WILL BE POSTED IN APRIL 2012
Outdoor
Sand 3s
- sand courts in Nanaimo will be played rain or shine
- Max of 3 players from team playing in game with one player of opposite sex
- Similar to grass rules; details provided on tournament date
Sand 2s (Men or Women)
- played rain or shine
- Men's doubles or Women's doubles. Min. 16yrs and up
- Regular beach doubles rules
Grass Co-ed 3s/4s:
- one opposite sex player playing; Optional 3s or 4s (whatever works best for your team)
- no restrictions on blocking ; 3 contacts allowed after a block touch
- game play and other rules provided prior to tournament
Grass Reverse 2s (R2s):
- All male players must spike from behind the attack line and can only block other males
- Team can be made up of co-ed, 2 females, or 2 males
- Females can spike from front row and can block anyone
- game play and other rule details provided prior to tournament
